Dana Brooks

Dana joined Wellington-Altus in March 2022 and is based in Calgary, AB. She is an Associate Vice-President supporting advisory teams and their clients primarily in British Columbia and Alberta.

As a wealth strategist with over 15 years of insurance and wealth industry experience, Dana’s background includes planning for high and ultra-high net worth clients, whether they be business owners, farm/ranch operators, professionals, or investors. She excels at supporting advisory teams in helping them meet their clients’ wealth planning needs through detailed comprehensive plans.

Her passion is to identify and address the unique needs of every client, which is evidenced by her approach from the first discovery meeting to presenting the client’s planning deliverable. She strongly believes that each client has a story to tell, and asking the right questions and actively listening will provide the right environment for each client to share theirs.

Outside of work, she and her husband enjoy their empty nest years in the mountains, kayaking and camping in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter with their very active lab Tilley.
