Catalin Zetu

Catalin joined Wellington-Altus in July 2023 and is based in Toronto, ON. He is an Associate Vice-President for the East Coast Region and has over 15 years of experience serving family businesses, incorporated professionals and high-net-worth families. Catalin specializes in business succession planning and wealth accumulation inside corporations.

Catalin’s career in Wealth Management started after running a consulting business and attending business school. His interest in entrepreneurship translated into a genuine passion for helping family businesses with their holistic financial planning needs. Over the years, he has been a customary speaker at business owner seminars, focus groups and workshops, promoting an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to wealth management. Catalin advocates the use of advanced financial technology in providing clients with the answers they need when making significant financial decisions.

Catalin holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Queen’s University and obtained the CFP®, RRC® and CEPA™ designations.

Outside of work, Catalin has developed a passion for studying foreign languages and has been a promoter of financial literacy for high-school students. During winter, he enjoys skiing trips in the company of his daughter.
