Jerry Thomas

Jerry has over 20 years of experience across the Canadian financial services and wealth management industry. Over his career, he has held a number of leadership roles across strategy, finance, operations, sales management, and asset management manufacturing.

Previously to joining Wellington-Altus, Jerry held progressively senior leadership roles at major Canadian asset management firms including Sun Life Global Investments where he was responsible for business operations, governance and controls for the firm, and Scotiabank Global Asset Management where he was responsible for strategy and business operations of multiple asset management companies across Canada, Mexico and Asia.

Previously, he held a number of senior management roles within Scotiabank and TD Bank, having begun his career as an advisor.

Jerry holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Guelph and a Master of Business Administration degree with dual specializations in Finance and Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University.
