Alex Spence

Alex is an Associate Vice President based in Winnipeg, MB. Alex is passionate about educating clients on personal finance strategies so that they are empowered to optimize their wealth plans and achieve their financial goals.

Prior to joining Wellington-Altus, Alex worked in the financial services industry with two of the big Canadian banks. There he oversaw holistic client relationships and engaged with clients in planning all facets of their wealth journeys including investment management, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.

Alex is an accredited financial planner, holding the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®, Personal Financial Planner (PFP^®), and Fellow of CSI designations, in addition to having completed the Life License Qualification Program.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys travelling to locales with unique flora & fauna and spending time with his spouse, along with their miniature Australian Shepherd, Atlas.
