Senior Vice-President, Marketing
As Senior Vice-President, Marketing, James leads the corporate brand strategy for Wellington-Altus, providing an elevated marketing experience to attract and support investment advisors across Canada.
With more than 25 years of marketing experience, James uses a data-driven approach to decision-making to ensure the firm’s value proposition is heard. He enjoys working collaboratively within and across teams to make this happen.
James came to Wellington-Altus from the TMX Group where he led strategic omni-channel marketing campaigns in support of Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) growth objectives.
He previously led the digital marketing team at CI Global Asset Management, driving digital engagement for the company’s brands in Canada and the U.S. Prior to that, James served in various successive marketing roles with Mackenzie Investments, OMERS and CIBC Asset Management.
James has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the University of Guelph.
