Executive Vice-President, Chief Experience Officer, Wellington-Altus Financial Inc.
Steph Condra, the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) at Wellington-Altus, spearheads a comprehensive portfolio of responsibilities that define and elevate the overall experience of advisors within the firm.
Leading the marketing, advanced wealth planning, advisor onboarding, advisor engagement and regional management teams, Steph’s approach is reflective of the passion she has for the human aspect of finance—and her vision for an industry that understands and caters to our powerful personal relationship to wealth. Fostering creativity and fun and ensuring her team and the firm’s advisors feel engaged and valued, she strives to create an environment that attracts new advisors and provides them with tools and resources to run a successful practice.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter holder, Steph brings over 20 years of experience in wealth management, asset management, and institutional investment to her role, including more than a decade in London, U.K. and Dublin, Ireland. She was previously Head, National Strategy Office for BMO Private Wealth, where she guided the integration of their private banking and full-service brokerage (Nesbitt Burns) businesses—creating a future-ready organizational structure, operating model, and value proposition.
Steph regularly speaks about the future of wealth management issues like increasing diversity, understanding the psychology of money, and how advisors work. She is part of a Women in Capital Markets (WCM) Wealth Management working group addressing the perpetual challenge of too few women advisors in the industry.
She has been actively involved with the CFA Society for over a decade and has also lent her professional experience to support the Girl Guides of Canada nationally, sitting on the audit and finance, portfolio review, and nomination committees.
