Rob Tétrault leads Tétrault Wealth at Wellington-Altus Private Wealth, where he is redefining the practice of financial advising and portfolio management through a client-first, evidence-based approach rooted in clarity, accountability, and innovation.
A graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Rob began his career as a litigation lawyer at Aikins MacAulay Thorvaldson before transitioning to finance. He went on to complete an MBA in Finance at the Asper School of Business, earning Dean’s List honours.
Rob has built a thriving practice serving high-net-worth individuals and families and is known for his transparency, strategic thinking, and commitment to helping clients navigate their financial goals.
An active member of the community, Rob has received numerous honours, including the Visionary Award from Radio-Canada, the St. Boniface Chamber of Commerce Distinction Award, recognition in the IAAC Top 40 Under 40, and inclusion among the 100 Most Fascinating Manitobans.
Beyond his professional work, Rob is the co-founder and trustee of the Canadian CMV Foundation, an organization he created to raise awareness and funds to combat congenital CMV, a leading cause of disability in infants.
In one of the foundation’s boldest initiatives, Rob ran across four provinces: Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, completing two half-marathons per day alongside a team of volunteers and supporters.
The campaign contributed to the passage of legislation in Manitoba mandating CMV screening for all newborns. Rob continues to advocate for broader awareness and screening initiatives across Canada.
In his spare time, Rob co-hosts The Running Journey podcast with his brother, Charles, where they share stories from their training, races, and endurance adventures. Episodes are available on major streaming platforms and on the Run with Rob YouTube channel.
Rob lives in St. Boniface, Winnipeg’s French Quarter, with his wife, Michelle, and their four children.
