CFP®, CIM®
Conseiller en gestion de patrimoine principal, PLANIFICATEUR FINANCIER AGRÉÉ
The financial services industry found Chris in 1982, which meant selling insurance and RRSPs in a 20% interest rate environment. A further 5 years in a management role allowed him to complete his CLU, ChFC and CFP® designations.
In 1995, a chance phone call resulted in him agreeing to become an evening instructor in the CFP program, first in ‘Risk Management and Estate Planning’, then ‘Tax Planning’, and finally ‘Retirement Planning’. This continuing involvement in the educational aspect has helped shape his practice into a true financial planning firm, helping over 2,000 clients with tax preparation, retirement planning, and estate planning as key services.
In his spare time Chris enjoys both golf and hockey, and prefers to winter in Florida with his wife Caprice and his English Bulldog ‘Mac’.
