Ryan Henderson

Ryan truly understands the importance of client relationships. He has worked closely with multi-generational families, successful professionals, clients nearing retirement, retirees, business owners, as well as institutional clients including publicly traded and private corporations and endowment funds. Ryan has a deep understanding of the investment industry through more than two decades of industry-related education, most recently completing the FEA (Family Enterprise Advisor) program which has been an incredible addition to continue best-supporting our clients in the high and ultra-high net worth space. His experience working closely with investors has solidified exactly what is important, giving him the unique ability to understand, empower and counsel our clients to achieve their financial goals. Being a second-generation family business owner also gives Ryan a real-life understanding of the families-in-business we work with. Knowing that honesty, openness and simplicity are integral, Ryan has built solid, enduring relationships.

Ryan continues to lead the team at Henderson & Associates; responsible for all operations, long-term vision and strategic planning. He also consults with Bruce on the investment decisions within the discretionary portfolios. For many years, Ryan was a member of his previous firm’s Chairman’s Council, which recognized select advisors across the country for excellence in business management, client service and their contribution to the firm. He continues to enjoy similar successes, proudly serving as a member of Wellington-Altus’ Advisory Board, helping to craft policy and strategy for our firm and its advisors.

Ryan and his wife have a teenage son and live just outside of Winnipeg. When not spending time with clients, Ryan enjoys being involved in his community, staying active and enjoying the outdoors on their country property as well as at their family cabin.
